Specialty coffee is the opposite of commodity coffee, the kind that prioritises volume over quality. With specialty, the focus is on the bean's origin, the roast profile, and how it is handled when it reaches the barista. Pull it well and you get something remarkable. Pull it badly and you waste something special. At Krumb, we take that responsibility seriously.

When we were setting up the bakery, finding the right coffee partner was non-negotiable. We wanted beans that would pull a genuinely great espresso, something with depth and sweetness that would shine through milk just as well as it does black.
Lucid Coffee Roasters stood out immediately. They source with care, roast thoughtfully, and their espresso is exactly what we were looking for. It is full-flavoured without being harsh, and it makes for a flat white, latte or cortado that tastes like it was made by people who care. Which it was. Every single cup at our coffee shop on the Ormeau Road is pulled to order, fresh and properly made.

Our full coffee menu runs across all the espresso classics. You will find flat whites, lattes, cortados, cappuccinos and americanos, all made on our Lucid beans. We also serve matcha, hot chocolate, and iced coffee for when you want something a little different.
We have got homemade vanilla, caramel and brown sugar syrups available to add to your drink, all made in our own kitchen. These are also sold in bottles to take home, so you can bring a little bakery magic to your morning routine. Oat milk is always on hand too.
Our team are trained to make your coffee well. That means properly extracted espresso, microfoamed milk at the right temperature, and a drink that tastes like it should. We care about getting this right because we know you can tell the difference.

Specialty coffee Belfast tastes even better with something handmade alongside it. At Krumb, everything in the cabinet is baked fresh from scratch every day in small batches. We are talking buttery pastries, proper cakes, seasonal bakes, and the kind of thing that makes a mid-morning coffee feel like a genuine treat.
There is something very right about a well-pulled flat white next to a warm pastry. It is one of life's simple pleasures, and we have set up our wee bakery specifically to give you that experience, every Wednesday to Sunday on the Ormeau Road.

Specialty coffee comes from higher-quality beans that are scored and graded by certified tasters. The roasting and brewing process is more careful too, which means the final cup has more flavour, more character and less bitterness than standard coffee. Once you taste it, it is hard to go back.
Do you serve oat milk at Krumb?
Yes, oat milk is available across our full coffee menu. Just ask when you order.
Can I buy Lucid Coffee Roasters beans at the bakery?
We do not stock retail bags of beans at the moment, but we do sell our homemade coffee syrups in bottles so you can recreate the Krumb coffee experience at home. Pop in and grab a bottle of vanilla, caramel or brown sugar syrup.
