Iced Coffee Season
When the sun comes out in Belfast, the first thing we want is something cold, delicious and properly made. Iced coffee Belfast season is one of our favourite times of year at Krumb, and we have put together a menu that makes the most of it. Cold, refreshing, made on our Lucid Coffee Roasters espresso. This is iced coffee done properly.

Iced Coffee Belfast: Why It Hits Different Here
There is something particularly satisfying about a good iced coffee in Belfast. Maybe it is because we spend so much of the year longing for warmth that when it arrives, cold coffee in a sunny courtyard feels absolutely earned. At Krumb, we take the same care with our iced drinks as we do with our hot ones. The espresso is pulled fresh, the milk is cold, and the ice is generous.
We use our Lucid Coffee Roasters beans for every iced drink we make. That matters, because specialty espresso with real depth and sweetness behaves very differently over ice from a flat, bitter shot. You get flavour, not just caffeine. That is the whole point.
What We Serve: Cold Coffee on the Ormeau Road
Our iced coffee menu at this cafe on the Ormeau Road keeps things honest and delicious. You will find iced lattes, iced flat whites, and cold coffee drinks that we can build to your preference. Want oat milk? Done. Want a pump of our homemade caramel syrup? Absolutely. Want a brown sugar iced coffee that tastes like it came straight from your daydream? Come and ask us.
Our homemade syrups, vanilla, caramel and brown sugar, were made for iced coffee season. They dissolve beautifully in cold drinks and add a flavour that commercial syrups simply cannot match. A caramel iced latte with oat milk and a good pastry alongside it is, quite frankly, one of the better ways to spend a summer afternoon.
Cold Coffee and Something Sweet: The Perfect Pairing
Everything at Krumb is handmade from scratch that morning. When iced coffee season arrives, we love pairing cold drinks with our lighter bakes, something fruity, a slice of seasonal cake, or a pastry that is buttery and golden and fresh out of the oven. Treat yourself. You have earned it.
We bake in small batches every day, which means the cabinet is always full of fresh things, and nothing hangs around past its best. Pop in, see what we have got, and pair it with whatever is coldest and most delicious in the drinks fridge.
Tips for Getting the Most from Your Iced Coffee
A few things that make a difference when it comes to cold coffee Belfast:
- Ask for extra ice if you are planning to sit outside. Cold drinks warm up faster in the sun than you think.
- Try our brown sugar syrup in an iced latte. It adds a warm, complex sweetness that works brilliantly with cold milk and fresh espresso.
- Oat milk over ice is genuinely lovely. It has a natural creaminess that holds up well in cold drinks.
- Order via click and collect if you want your coffee ready when you arrive. No waiting, straight to enjoying.
Questions We Get Asked
Do you serve cold brew coffee at Krumb?
Our iced coffee drinks are built on fresh espresso rather than cold brew. This gives you the full flavour of our Lucid Coffee Roasters beans in a cold format. Ask us what is on the menu when you visit and we will find something you love.
Can I get an iced matcha at Krumb?
Pop in and ask. We love making cold drinks that work for you. An iced matcha latte on a warm day is a genuinely wonderful thing, especially with a splash of our vanilla syrup.
Do you have oat milk for iced coffee?
Always. Oat milk is available across our full drinks menu, including all iced options. It is a great choice in cold coffee and we use it a lot ourselves.
